Pat Robertson's recent fatwa against Venezuala was bad enough, but another favorite demagogue has also decided to venture into the wonderful world of international politics. This one, however, descends into the realm of plain ludicrous to the point of disbelieving laughter.

Amusingly, Fred Phelps is considered so insane that even the uber hardcore right wing religious conservatives disavow any connection to him. There was even a vague, half-hearted suggestion that he is actually a GAY PLANT, whose sole purpose is to make the relgious right lood bad. If that's the case, he's doing a damn good job!
